Pick & Build is a patented DIY construction system that lets you design and build your own structures: from homes, vacation retreats, to offices, shops, or saunas. The system delivers a structurally engineered, low-energy core skeleton, designed for manual assembly by only 2-3 people.

An innovative modular system needed an intuitive interface that enabled customers to design, visualise, and purchase their custom buildings through a configurator.

I developed a mobile-first design concept that enables users to build their desired structure by choosing from pre-designed ideas or creating their own custom building. Users can customise the building area, floor plan, roof type, and window openings. They can save their configuration for later or complete the order directly once finished.

Following a simple, effective, and user-centred design approach, the configurator is fully responsive across all web and mobile devices, allowing anyone to self-plan their project and seamlessly complete an online order, regardless of technical expertise or prior knowledge.
